How to find your Clash Royale tag
Your Clash Royale tag is your account's unique ID. It shows under your name, in your profile, and starts with #. Unlike your name, it never changes.
Find your tag in 3 steps
- 1
Open your profile
Launch Clash Royale and tap your name or level in the top left of the main screen to open your profile.
- 2
Spot your tag
Your tag is shown right under your name. It starts with # and contains numbers and capital letters, for example #2PYQ8LU.
- 3
Paste it into the tracker
Copy or write down your tag, then paste it into the RoyaleTrack search. The # is optional.

The most common typos
A tag only uses 14 characters: 0 2 8 9 P Y L Q G R J C U V. So there's never a letter O: it's always the number zero. There's no 1, I or B either. If your search comes up empty, check these characters first.
What is the tag for?
- seeing your battle log and your win rate by deck and by card on your RoyaleTrack profile;
- adding a friend or finding a player even if they change their name;
- finding a clan: clans have a tag too, which you can search for on the Clans page.
Is it risky to share your tag?
No. The tag is public and only gives access to information anyone can see in the game: profile, cards and recent games. It can't be used to log in to your account.
